Rob Estes’ first view on life was from a naval base in Virginia. He was raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan. “Yeah, I was considered a catch,” he said about his high school years. “They should catch me and put me in the ugly patch! I had zits and braces. And the fashion sense of Carol Channing.” But Estes grew out of the ugly patch. He studied fine arts at the University of Southern California and developed a better fashion sense through his small guest roles, and a theatre skills by working with the Edinburgh Theatre festival. Heeventually landed on Silk Stalkings in 1991 as Officer Chris Lorenzo. Estes also had a chance to view life from behind the camera when he directed a few episodes of Melrose Place. After three years with the show, co-starring with his wife Josie Bissett, Estes decided to take another view of life- this time with laughter.
